UDS Winter Symposium 2019 Presenters

Lisa Bauman – Lisa Bauman is a USEA ICP certified trainer that specializes in building a solid foundation for both horse and rider from which they can effectively define and reach their goals. Lisa bridges the gap between horse and rider fitness by introducing Yoga for Riders. Lisa focuses on core fundamentals that produce correct movement and muscle integration.

Jan Lawrence - Jan Lawrence lives and breathes all things dressage, which has been a lifelong obsession for her. She and her husband, Gary Lawrence teach and train at their family owned and operated facility Millbrook Farms located in Fairfield, Utah. Over their 30-year careers they have been successful in dressage, three day eventing, warmblood breeding, horse show management, clinics and symposia, all while working to create a harmonious equestrian community. Their program to date has produced 40 USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalists, and Bronze and Silver Musical Freestyle Bars.

Jan also collaborated to create a successful seat clinic curriculum for riders with lower back injuries and creates musical freestyles for dressage riders.

Dr. Blair Lybbert – Nearly five years ago Dr. Lybbert and his family arrived in the Park City area from Elko, Nevada where he had practiced equine veterinary medicine for five years. Prior to that experience he completed a year-long internship at Retama Equine Hospital in San Antonio. He attended veterinary school at Texas A&M University after graduating from BYU in 2004. His youth was spent helping with his family’s horse-training business in southern Alberta, Canada, then in Gainesville, TX. He is very active in his church and enjoys spending time with his family. In addition to a wonderful wife he has two pre-teens and a new baby daughter.

Other regional and National wins include Sporthorse In Hand, Dressage, Western Dressage and Ranch Horse.

PEMF - The Therapulse equipment delivers Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy, or PEMF & is a remarkable treatment that has been in use for both human and animal treatment for decades. The benefits of PEMF are many & varied & there is a wealth of information available if you wish to learn more.

Allie Wicks – Has been a licensed United States Equestrian Federation rated judge in equitation jumpers and hunters for the last 15 years. She also has extensive experience judging Arabian Sport Horse. Allie is currently competing Grand Prix Jumpers and her new 2019 Horse of the Year partner Bellamy.
