General Information
Horses and riders must be comfortable being instructed in front of an audience in our indoor arena, as there may be auditors in attendance. Your horse must not be bothered by an amplified sound system, as the clinician may be using a microphone so the audience can hear their comments and suggestions. You must be ready and able to make the requested corrections and perform the exercises as directed by the clinician, consistent with the level of riding designated on the application.
Riders may be amateurs, junior/young riders, or professionals and any breed of horse may be submitted. You must give your permission for Jane to ride your horse should she choose to do so.
Deadlines and Selection Process
Applications must be submitted no later than September 15th, 2018. Late applications will not be considered. We are not responsible for late or misdirected mail, but we will confirm applications as they are received. We will notify all applicants once the selection process is completed, no later than two weeks prior to the clinic.
Please provide a current, readable email address on your application. We will not publish the names of applicants not selected, nor will we inform third parties, such as horse owners as to the status of the application. Riders only, may submit applications, although owners will be asked to sign their consent for their horse to participate.

Riders must ride the horse listed on this application. If a substitution is needed, you must receive permission from the clinic organizer.
Riders may apply with more than one horse. Please submit one application for each horse.
Fees and Cancellations
(Please note: Total cost may decrease due to sponsorship support)
The clinic fee is currently $380 both days ($190 per ride). There is no fee for you to audit the rest of the clinic.
Stabling Fees will be $30 per horse, per day at Sage Creek during this clinic. Those fees will be paid directly to Sage Creek Equestrian.
Travel expenses, hotel expenses and meals outside of the clinic are at your own expense.
Payment must be sent with application, but checks will not be cashed until after you have been selected to ride in the clinic. Make checks payable to The UDS. If sponsorships have been secured, you may be refunded a portion of the original clinic fee. If you cancel two weeks prior to the event, your fee will be refunded less a $25 processing charge. If you cancel less than two weeks prior to the event, your application fee will be applied towards auditing and no further refund will be given.
*** Audit Fees will be $25 per person, per day.
Format and Schedule
This clinic is open to all riders and any breed of horse; First Level and above. The format will consist of one horse and rider presented in 45-60 minute blocks each day. Clinic hours are approximately 8 am to 5 pm, with a break for lunch and a couple of shorter breaks throughout the day.
If selected, you agree to all of the requirements listed above, as well as the following additional requirements:
Helmets are required and should be show quality.
Riders, Horses and Tack will be clean & presentable.
All riders must be familiar with all of the tests in the level you are applying for. You do not need to know them from memory, but you must know the basic movements in each of the tests.
Riders are allowed to apply with more than one horse.
